Duralux Story

The Story

Nestled in the heart of the Ozark Mountains, Ozark Trade and Design is a small painting and remodeling company that specializes in interior and exterior painting, drywall repair and other types of small construction jobs. It's the product of husband and wife team Andrew and Ashley Dickson. He's made a name for himself as a painter in the area for over 25 years, and she brings to the collaboration 15 years of experience as a designer. Together, they focus their efforts and helping as many people as possible enjoy the beautiful homes they'd always seen for themselves - and that is one trend that shows absolutely no signs of slowing down anytime soon.

Because Andrew and Ashley love their town so much, they recently volunteered to paint a few sculptures located at the city pool. They have four kids and tend to spend a lot of time there in general, so they thought it was only fair that they try to give back to a place that had already given them so many wonderful memories.

Unfortunately, they soon discovered that volunteering was the easy part - actually finding the right paint to get the job done properly was something else entirely.

By virtue of the fact that they were located down at the city pool, many of the structures in question were in a significant state of disrepair thanks to being in nearly constant contact with water for so long. Any painting solution that was employed would need to not only restore their original look and feel, but also offer advanced protection for the structures so that they could hold up to similar conditions for years to come.

Ozark Trade and Design contacted several painting companies in the area, though unfortunately few could offer much in the way of help. This was a specific job that would require a precise solution to get right.

Thankfully, Andrew and Ashley Dickson soon discovered Duralux Marine Paint - and they couldn't have done so at a better time.

The Duralux Impact
