PRECAUTIONS
- Avoid eye and skin contact.
- Loose fibers can cause irritation.
- Cloth or leather gloves are recommended.
- Store in a dry place.
Usage Instructions
PREPARATION
- Remove any old and dried out cement, caulking, or coating from cracks or holes.
- Surface should be dry and clean.
- If surface is metal, it should be rust and scale free.
APPLICATION
- Apply Universal Patching Fabric with patching compound.
- Fill up cracks or holes with patch to the surface.
- Trowel small amount of patch at one end of crack, open joint or loose seam as starting point for fabric.
- Center fabric over crack, seam or hole, and spot stick fabric in patch.
- Unroll the fabric to cover defective area, leaving a 2" minimum overlap on all sides.
- Sandwich the fabric by covering with a additional layer of patch, extending at least 2" beyond the fabric on all sides.
- Smooth and trowel to a feathered edge.
- Before applying patch and fabric to a blistered area, cut the blister in a crisscross manner.
- Open up blisters and fold flaps back, removing any rotted materials and drying out any moisture from underneath the blister.
- Trowel patch to cover exposed area and bond old surfaces together.
- Fold cut flaps back to original position and press into place.
- Cover with fabric and patch, using the same method as with cracks and holes.
