Dry-Treat Stain-Proof Plus is a premium impregnating sealer. It is specially formulated to provide long-term protection against water- and oil-based stains and damage. It’s specially formulated for natural stone and concrete countertops. Treating your countertops with Stain-Proof Plus makes them easier to clean, maintain, and preserve. Use it on basalt, bluestone, concrete, granite, marble, quartzite, and slate countertops. This sealer is suitable for indoor, outdoor, residential, and commercial use. It contains a super penetrator, which allows for deep penetration of dense granite and marble. It contains 3 different custom sealing molecules for 3 levels of penetration, maximizing stain repellence on your countertops. Stain-Proof Plus retains natural surface color and finish. It is super breathable, making it safer to use. It allows water vapors to escape freely, which prevents harmful moisture buildup inside the treated material. To use, make sure the target surface is dry and free of any residues, and then generously apply Stain-Proof using a low-pressure hand sprayer, clean brush, or lamb wool applicator. Porous surfaces should have a mirrorlike wet look. Avoid contact with surrounding areas. Wait for approximately 10 minutes, and then reapply the product before the surface dries. After the final coat, wait another 10 minutes, and then polish the surface before it dries. Polish it with a clean, dry white cloth, towel, or similar material to remove excess product. We recommend moistening the cloth with Stain-Proof Plus to ease polishing. Finally, use an organic solvent to clean equipment. STORAGE

Keep container tightly sealed in a cool, well ventilated place.  It   is  recommended  that   this  product  is   best  used  within   seven  days  of   opening  to  avoid   possible  spoilage.

 

FIRST AID If exposed or concerned seek medical advice.  IF ON SKIN: Take off immediately all contaminated clothing.  Rinse  skin   with  water/shower.    IF   IN  EYES:  Rinse  cautiously  with   water  for  several   minutes.    Remove  contact  lenses,   if  present  and   easy  to  do.     Continue  rinsing.    IF   SWALLOWED:  Call  a   poison  center/physician if you feel unwell.

 

CAUTIONDANGER: Highly flammable liquid or vapor. Harmful if   inhaled.  Causes  skin   irritation.  Causes  serious   eye  irritation. Harmful to aquatic life. PRECAUTIONS: Do not handle until all safety precautions have been read and understood. Keep away from heat, hot surfaces, sparks,   open  flames  and   other  ignition  sources-   No  Smoking.   Avoid    breathing    dust/fume/gas/mist/   vapours/spray.    Keep     container    tightly    closed.     Wear    protective    gloves/protective    clothing/eye    protection/face  protection.   KEEP  OUT  OF   REACH  OF CHILDREN.

Usage Instructions

Application instructions

1. ALWAYS TEST PRODUCT ON A SMALL AREA FIRST and allow a 24-hour cure time to determine the ease of application and desired results.
2. Ensure surfaces to be treated are dry, clean and free of residues.
3. DO NOT thin product.
4. Generously saturate the surface with Dense Stone Impregnating Sealer using a low-pressure hand spray, a clean brush or lamb’s wool applicator. Surface should have a mirror like ‘wet’ look for 3-5 seconds. Avoid contact with surrounding areas.
5. Allow the surface to become touch dry, waiting a minimum of 10 minutes, and repeat Step 4. Total application rate is approximately one quart per 100 sq.ft. (one litre per 10 square meters), depending on surface absorption.
6. After the final coat allow the surface to become touch dry, waiting a minimum of 10 minutes, and then polish with a clean dry white cloth to remove excess product, moistening cloth with Dense Stone Impregnating Sealer to ease polishing.
7. Use an organic solvent e.g. methylated spirits to clean equipment.
   Sealer will NOT prevent surface etching, scuff marks or wear and may lighten or darken some surfaces. Dense Stone

Typical Applications

HOW TO USE

1. ALWAYS TEST PRODUCT ON A SMALL AREA FIRST and allow a 24-hour cure time to determine the ease of application and desired results.

2. Apply when surface temperature is between 40 - 95°F (5 - 35°C). Ensure surfaces to be treated are dry, clean and free of residues. 

3.  DO NOT thin product.

4. Generously  apply  STAIN-PROOF™   Dense  Stone  Impregnating   Sealer  using  a   low  pressure hand sprayer, a clean brush or lamb’s wool applicator. Surface should have a mirror like ‘wet’ look for 3-5 seconds. Avoid contact with surrounding areas

.5. Wait  for  approximately   10  minutes  but   before  the  surface   dries,  repeat  

Step  4.  Total   application  rate  is   approximately  one  pint   for  up  to   75  sq.ft.  (half   liter  per  7   square  meters),      depending on surface absorption. Visit stain-proof.com for our coverage chart.

6. After the final coat, wait approximately 10 minutes but, before the surface dries, polish with  a  clean   dry  white  cloth   to  remove  excess   product,  moistening  cloth   with  STAIN-PROOF™ Dense Stone Impregnating Sealer to ease polishing.

7.   Use an organic solvent e.g. methylated spirits to clean equipment.8. Avoid   moisture  contact  with   the  surface  for   six  hours  after   application.  Surface  may   be  used after 24 hours with full cure up to 4 weeks.

NOTE: Sealer will not prevent surface etching, scuff marks or wear and may lighten or darken some  surfaces.  STAIN-PROOF   Dense  Stone  Impregnating   Sealer  will  make   the  maintenance  and cleaning of a treated surface much easier. Once cured, this product is food contact safe. Spills should be cleaned up immediately to minimize absorption
