Application Rates

Total application rate is approximately one quart per 20 to 250 sq. ft. (one liter per 2 to 25 sqm), depending on surface absorption. Check coverage guide.

Storage

Use product within 12 months of purchase. Keep container tightly sealed, in a cool, well-ventilated place. It is recommended that this product be used within seven days from opening to avoid possible spoilage. Avoid freezing as it is water based.

Precautions

Do not take internally. Apply when surface temperature is between 5 - 35°C (40 - 95°F). Avoid moisture contact with the surface for 24 hours after application. Use positive pressure respirator if ventilation is inadequate. Wear suitable solvent resistant gloves, protective clothing, safety goggles and an organic vapor respirator during application. Warranty

A 10-YEAR PERFORMANCE WARRANTY is offered when product applied by an Accredited Applicator following our written instructions and surface is maintained regularly using our written maintenance system, as outlined in our warranty document. Spills should still be cleaned up immediately to minimize absorption.

Application instructions

1. TEST PRODUCT ON A SMALL, INCONSPICUOUS AREA FIRST. Allow a 24-hour cure time to determine the ease of application and desired results
2. Surface must be dry, clean and free of residues.
3. DO NOT thin product.
4. Generously apply Premium Waterborne Impregnating Sealer using a clean brush, foam roller or a lambs wool applicator.
5. Apply a second coat when surface is dry to touch, but before the surface is completely dry (typically ~30mins). Repeat steps 4 and 5 until surface is adequately sealed, usually after 2-3 coats. Avoid contact with surrounding areas. Total application rate is approximately one quart per 20 to 250 sq. ft. (one liter per 2 to 25 sqm), depending on surface absorption.
6. After the final coat, wait approximately 30 minutes but before the surface completely dries, polish the surface thoroughly with clean, dry, white cloths, towels or similar to remove excess product, moistening cloth with Premium Waterborne Impregnating Sealer to ease polishing.
7. Use water to clean equipment.

Notes: Sealer will NOT prevent surface etching, scuff marks or wear and may lighten or darken some surfaces. Spills should be cleaned up immediately to minimize absorption.
